BILL ME LATER™ QUICKPATH NOW AVAILABLE TO MERCHANTS THROUGH CARDINALCOMMERCE
New Quick-to-Market Solution enables leading Retailers to Offer Customers a Safe and Convenient Alternative Payment Option
Cleveland, Ohio and Timonium, M.D. - June 12, 2007 - CardinalCommerce, a leading enabler of payment brands, and I4 Commerce today announced that the Cardinal Centinel®* solution which incorporates I4 Commerce’s Bill Me Later® has been further customized to make it easier for merchants to deploy this payment option. Through Cardinal Centinel, merchants will be able to implement Bill Me Later QuickPath™, an easy to deploy version of the Bill Me Later payment service. Bill Me Later QuickPath is designed for rapid implementation and requires no large-scale implementation or customization.
Part of I4 Commerce’s PayCapture® suite, Bill Me Later offers consumers a payment option when shopping online and by phone that does not require a credit card. Several online retailers have already deployed Bill Me Later through Cardinal Centinel including Toshiba Direct, Organic Bouquet, and NetShops, an operator of Internet specialty stores.
Cardinal Centinel is a payment platform that enables a suite of payment options for merchants through one easy integration. The addition of Bill Me Later QuickPath to Centinel allows merchants fast access to a secure and convenient form of order acceptance.
"NetShops is committed to offering our customers a safe and secure shopping environment with payment options that meet their personal needs and lifestyle choices. Our partnership with CardinalCommerce and I4 Commerce has enabled us to elevate this commitment and provide a greater level of service to our customers," said Jay Gordman, Director of eCommerce, NetShops.
I4 Commerce enables retailers to take back and simplify the payment experience to capture lost sales, increase customer loyalty and maximize profits. Through a single implementation of its PayCapture suite, merchants gain access to a set of technology solutions including Bill Me Later, promotional financing, private label credit and integrated marketing programs.
“By further customizing Cardinal Centinel, we have made it easier for merchants to accept Bill Me Later. When we add Bill Me Later as a payment brand we see that internet merchants have increased sales because of the demand from consumers wanting to buy online with this option,” said Matt McDowell, Vice President of Merchant Services at CardinalCommerce.
“Leading retailers have found that customers using Bill Me Later typically have higher average order values than those that opt for other forms of payment,” said Mark Lavelle, Vice President of Corporate Development at I4 Commerce. “The added security and convenience of Bill Me Later helps retailers turn browsers, who in the past might have been hesitant to purchase more items online, into buyers.”
