 After a very public theft at CardSystems Solutions, and recently at some major retailers, stories about fraud stemming from lost or stolen laptops holding customer information have been splashed all over the news. These standards, known as PCI (or Payment Card Industry Security Standard), focus on the protection of cardholder data, and ultimately customers' identities.
