Dan Charron
Board of Directors Advisory Member

 

Dan Charron oversees Chase Paymentechs' diverse network of business partner relationships, including independent sales organizations (ISO), agent/referral banks, the Canadian enterprise and Merchant Link. He is responsible for enterprise business operations, including merchant set-up and boarding, call centers and help desks, and regional retail relationship management. In addition to developing strategic partnerships to penetrate new markets and channels and core business operations, Charron is responsible for all mergers and acquisitions for Chase Paymentech Solutions.

 

Prior to joining the company, Charron was Managing Partner for marchFIRST (formerly USWeb/CKS), a leading global Internet professional services firm. He also spent nine years at Total System Service, Inc. (TSYS), where he oversaw a variety of functions, including system development, project management, conversions and corporate development.

 

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Charron has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering/construction management from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a master's degree in business administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He retains an active role with early stage companies through his involvement on multiple boards.

 

 

Lawrence J. Dolan
Board of Directors Advisory Member

 

Mr. Dolan is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Cleveland Indians Baseball Company. Mr. Dolan is also owner and president of several other companies which holdings include movie theatre chains, restaurants, real estate, apartment complexes, and entertainment complexes. Mr. Dolan has been a partner in the law firm of Thrasher, Dinsmore & Dolan since 1957 serving as the firm's managing partner since 1975. Mr. Dolan is very active in charitable and community organizations. Most notably, he serves on the Board of Trustees of Oberlin College, is a member of the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, and serves as president of the Geauga County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

 

 

Andreas Drimiotis
Board of Directors Advisory Member

 

In addition to joining Cardinal's Board of Advisors, Mr. Drimiotis is the current Chairman of Delta Singular, of Athens, Greece. He has a 35 year old managerial carrier in the Information Technology and Card Processing Services. Delta Singular is the largest card processor in the Southeastern Europe servicing 35 banks in Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Cyprus, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Delta Singular was formed in 2001 after the merger of Delta Informatics and Singular. Mr. Drimiotis has been the CEO and one of the founders of Delta Informatics since 1984 when the company was formed with Alpha Bank as the main shareholder. Delta Informatics was the first company in Greece to offer outsourcing services to Financial Institutions including Card and Merchant Processing.

 

Prior to his career at Delta Informatics, Mr. Drimiotis has held various managerial positions including the CEO of Unisystems, which is the Greek distributer of Unisys Inc. During his long career Mr. Drimiotis has been involved in very important Computer projects in Greece. He pioneered the electronic processing of the Election Results for the Greek Government, in 1981, and since then he has been involved in all the Elections in Greece (Parliamentary, Municipal and the European Parliament Elections)

 

 

Gary Heatherington
Board of Directors Advisory Member

 

Mr. Heatherington is a senior Banking Executive with over 27 years of management and board experience. This experience includes 9 years as President and CEO. Mr. Heatherington has also acted as a strategic advisor to a number of CEOs and top officers in the Banking Industry. Mr. Heatherington has both Board and international experience with emphasis on Financial Services, Payment Systems, eCommerce, retail and manufacturing.

 

Mr. Heatherington currently plays a key industry advisory role to CardinalCommerce. During his career, Mr. Heatherington has demonstrated substantial ability to establish new businesses or brands, and to reinvigorate existing ones. Mr. Heatherington’s work history includes the role of Chief Executive officer of Cyota in 2000 and 2001, a leading provider of electronic payments technology solutions. Prior to Cyota, Mr. Heatherington was the President and CEO of Bank One Canada in 1999-2000. From 1992-1999 Mr. Heatherington held a variety of Senior Management roles at MasterCard International including Executive Vice President Global Markets, President Canada Region, President and CEO Maestro Canada.

 

Prior to his long career at MasterCard, Mr. Heatherington was a Group Vice President at the National Trust Company from 1989-1992. Prior to National Trust Mr. Heatherington held positions at the Bank of Montreal from 1977-1989, and National Westminster Bank from 1974-1977. Mr. Heatherington has held or currently holds Directorship positions at Cyota, First Data Corp., Visa Canada, Bank One Canada, MasterCard Canada, Maestro, and Paradata Corp. Mr. Heatherington’s education includes: 1997 University of Virginia, Darden Business School, The Executive Program; 1988 Canadian Bankers Association, Honors Management Sciences Diploma; and 1987 Pacific Western University, MBA. Mr. Heatherington resides in Ontario, Canada.

 

 

Bennett Yanowitz
Board of Directors Advisory Member

 

Mr. Yanowitz is an experienced real estate and corporate attorney who has been providing business and legal guidance for the past 50 years. He counsels real estate developers, syndicators, and financial institutions with respect to project evaluation, property acquisition, transaction design, financial structuring, and ownership entities.

 

Mr. Yanowitz' real estate practice involves power centers throughout the Eastern United States, apartments, industrial parks, office buildings, housing subdivisions, planned unit developments, and full service, airport, and limited service hotels such as Hampton Inns, Hiltons, and Sheratons. He advises his corporate clients, which include national retailers, on acquisitions, leasing, corporate governance, and shareholder relationships.

 

Mr. Yanowitz served as the firm’s Managing Partner and on the Executive Committee from 1977 to 1992. He also served as President of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, President of the Jewish Education Service of North America, and Chairman of the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council, and has been honored for his numerous non-profit and communal activities. He is a member of the Cleveland, Cuyahoga County and Ohio State Bar Associations.
